Abstract
La Universidad Técnica de Machala, al no contar con un sistema de ayuda en el proceso de enseñanza, se veía limitada cuando un docente no podía asistir ya que esto retrasaba el progreso del alumno; es por eso que se vio en loa necesidad de desarrollar un Sistema de Reuniones Virtuales vía web integrando herramientas de software libre, el cual permite tanto al docente como al estudiante organizar concretar, trabajar ideas y propósitos de un interés en común para mejorar la educación universitaria empleando tecnología web 2.0
Description
The Technical University of Machala, by not having a support system in the teaching process was limited when a teacher could not attend because this delayed the progress of the student; that's why you saw loa need to develop a system of virtual meetings via web integrating free software tools, which allows both the teacher and the student organizing concrete, working ideas and purposes of a common interest to improve undergraduate education using web 2.0 technology.
