Parámetros ecográficos para diagnóstico de colelitiasis

Abstract

Cholelithiasis is very common, treated worldwide, it is even one of the first five causes that needs surgical intervention if it develops other severe conditions. One of the main symptoms in patients is visceral pain located in the right hypochondrium-epigastrium and in some cases radiates to the shoulder. OBJECTIVE: To determine the ultrasound parameters and possible diseases associated with cholelithiasis, by means of a bibliographic review of scientific articles. METHODS AND MATERIALS: A descriptive study was carried out through the review of scientific articles that provide essential information for the correct diagnosis, which was fulfilled with the strenuous search for scientific information such as PUBMED, GOOGLE ACADEMIC of the last 5 years. RESULTS: 17 bibliographic reviews were listed that indicate the incidence of symptoms due to cholelithiasis. To verify the severity of the patient, ultrasound is performed, which allows us to verify the calculations that absorb the ultrasound beam, giving a hyperechogenic image. CONCLUSION: Cholelithiasis is characterized by the generation of stones inside the gallbladder and attacking a larger group of female patients and older than 40 years, which develops a critical picture of cholecystitis and associated diseases such as acute cholecystitis and choledocholithiasis among others, which when analyzed by ultrasound shows its efficacy in the diagnosis of the patient to define the complications of this type of inflammation.
