Utilidad e interpretación del partograma para la respectiva toma de decisiones en atención primaria de salud

Abstract

INTRODUCTION: The necessary useful partogram tool has been used for decades worldwide by health personnel to monitor the evolution of labor, the correct use and interpretation of the partogram will help in a rapid manner for decision making in the event of a maternal-fetal complication reducing morbidity and mortality intrapartum that could occur when this instrument is not used correctly by health personnel in charge of obstetric care. OBJECTIVE: Explain the value and interpretation of partogram to the respective decision-making in obstetric care. METHODS: We conducted a search in databases such as Pubmed, Scielo, Cochrane Lybrary, Google Scholar, The Lancet, Redalyc, and selected articles of interest related with the thematic of the partogram. CONCLUSION: Partogram is a useful tool for health personnel, evidence recommends their continued use, in our country this is the graphic in the form # 051 consisting in the public history of the MSP, this applies in all pregnant patients to be enc uentren in active phase of labor; continuous training in health workers attending obstetric events is also key.
