Política monetaria: corrientes del pensamiento económico y evolución teórica.

Abstract

This work carried out a search and investigation of the different currents of economic thought, in addition to a view of the main ideas that were significant for each of these currents, the same that may be related to the monetary policies that each school tried to explain from its focus. Part of the content talks about great figures like Adam Smith and how he was the forerunner of one of the most representative schools of thought until today, so this work is developed in sections crossing a summary of some thoughts of the schools classical and neoclassical, in which Keynesian thinking will also be examined, continuing to study modern ideas, as a means of focus on price stabilization, continuing a development to resemble what has been the role that monetary policies play in the elaboration of a financial permanence, ending with different conclusions in the established.
