Acciones e intervenciones del farmacéutico a través de una vía clínica para el manejo integral de pacientes con hepatitis c

Abstract

Introduction: Hepatitis C tends to be a frequent and alarming problem worldwide at any stage of life of people, whether in childhood, adolescence or adulthood, affecting countless inhabitants causing its chronicity. Its incidence has been on the rise in recent years, being considered the ninth cause of death. This pathology can be preventable or controllable if appropriate measures are taken, guided by the pharmacist. Objective: To determine the actions and interventions from the pharmaceutical services of patients with hepatitis C through the review of scientific literature for the integral management of these patients. Methodology: A qualitative approach and a descriptive methodology were used in this research, based on the bibliographic review of relevant scientific literature. Twenty-seven articles from high-impact databases from the years 2018 to 2023 were chosen as reference. Conclusions: The authors of several scientific articles mention that the actions and interventions that should be performed from the pharmaceutical services C that help the elimination or tolerance in patients with hepatitis C is through patient information, dispensing, treatments, care, pharmacotherapeutic monitoring, telepharmacy, pharmacovigilance and the use of various technologies.
