Procesos microbiológicos en la detección de lactobacillus delbrueckii spp causante de infección del tracto urinario en adulto mayor femenino.

Abstract

Microorganisms are ubiquitoud, used as probiotics, because they help maintain the acid ph of the vagina, they can cause infections in the urinary tract of the older adult, because they are more likely to develop infection. The objective of this study is to investigate the analytical phase of a clinical case of a female older adult, by means of a bibliographic review of Lactobacillus Delbruekii Spp. The study is descriptive in nature, using the qualitative method, because the urine test strip is to be evaluated according to its color and a Gram Stain is perfomed; it is quantitative because they quantify colony forming units to determine infectious bacteria by detecting proteins using the Maldi-Toff equipment. Results: in the chromogenic médium Agar Uriselect 4 huo a growth of 100.000 ointiform CFUs, with reducen blue halo, catalase and oxidase tests were negative, the antibiogram was realized, turning out to be sensitive towards the amoxicilina-acidic medicine clavulánico, across a subcultivation in agar blood detected to itself by means of the team Maldi-Toff that the causative bacterium of the infection is Lactobacillus Delbruekii Spp. It is concluded that the methods necessary for the determination of Lactobacillus Delbruekii Spp. are: Microscope observation of fresh urine samples and Gram stain, planting or Uriselec 4 Chromogenic Agar and Blood Agar, carrying out the antibiogram and passing through the Maldi-Toff team to confirm the causative agent of the problem.
