| dc.description | El presente trabajo de investigación aborda las problemáticas asociadas al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje del inglés en Ecuador, y tiene como finalidad incrementar el vocabulario de la lengua meta mediante la implementación de un manual de actividades didácticas bajo el enfoque comunicativo. Este enfoque parte de la premisa de que el vocabulario es un componente esencial para el desarrollo de todas las habilidades lingüísticas requeridas en el aprendizaje de cualquier idioma que se pretenda aprender. Este manual fue aplicado a los estudiantes de 5to año de Educación General Básica, paralelo A, de la Unidad Educativa CM. La investigación se enmarca un paradigma metodológico cuantitativo, utilizando un diseño experimental de tipo transversal-explicativo. Además, se centra en el empleo del enfoque comunicativo como estrategia metodológica para fomentar el aprendizaje del vocabulario inglés, mediante un guía de ejercicios didácticos, donde se pretende incrementar el vocabulario inglés de la lengua meta a partir de ejercicios prácticos durante la clase. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | This research addresses the challenges associated with the English teaching and learning process in Ecuador and objects to enhance the vocabulary of the target language through the implementation of a didactic activity manual based on the communicative approach. This approach is grounded in the premise that vocabulary is an essential component for the development of all linguistic skills required for learning any language. This manual was applied to the 5th-year students of General Basic Education, A section, at the CM Educational Unit. The research follows a quantitative methodological paradigm, utilizing an experimental design of a cross-sectional explanatory type. Furthermore, it focuses on employing the communicative approach as a methodological strategy to promote English vocabulary learning through a guide of didactic exercises aimed at significantly improving the students' vocabulary in the target language through practical activities during the class. | es_ES |
