Estrategias para obtener la certificación punto verde en la bananera San Alfonso del cantón Santa Rosa provincia de El Oro

Abstract

The Ecuadorian Environmental Recognition aims to promote good environmental practices not only in the public sector but also in the private sector in order to minimize the alteration of natural resources. This certification contains the guidelines that must be taken into consideration when obtaining the Green Point certification, such as the management of paper, the efficient use of water, energy and fuels. Faced with these bases, there is a need to implement strategies to encourage the San Alfonso farm to obtain this certification since it is an area of 174.40 hectares. This research work was proposed with the purpose of proposing short and medium term strategies in the San Alfonso banana plantation through the assessment of its main environmental impacts to obtain the Green Point environmental certification. The methodology used has a qualitative and quantitative approach. For this, Leopolds method was chosen and this in turn has an analytical-descriptive approach, that is, the activities carried out on the farm were detailed, this contributed to identifying the actions that generated alteration to resources and based on that, strategies were developed to promote sustainable production. The strategies that are proposed in the short and medium term are important since we will obtain positive results and cleaner production and avoid some expenses while preserving resources for future generations.
