Cuentos pictográficos para estimular el hábito lector en niños y niñas del subnivel inicial 2.

Abstract

During their first years of education, children learn to read as an important point in the development of cognitive, emotional and creative abilities. The objective of this research is to promote the reading habit through a didactic guide of pictographic stories adapted to the needs of boys and girls from 3 to 5 years of age from the "Abdón Calderón Garaicoa" School of Basic Education in the city of Pasaje, using a quantitative methodological approach, under three theoretical and two empirical methods, allowing the evaluation and analysis of the educational situation of the institution. Within the study area it was possible to verify that pedagogical strategies focused on the reading habit are not developed, exhibiting the limitation in the available didactic materials and the low level of the students in their reading skills, being that, as a proposal for the resolution to the Observed problem was raised "Didactic guide of pictographic stories to stimulate the reading habit in boys and girls of the Initial Sublevel 2", which was validated by eleven experts resolving that it contains excellent aspects and criteria for its incorporation as a pedagogical tool in the area study.
