Abstract

The development of motor skills is one of the greatest challenges in education, since, although it seems something so simple to achieve, it involves a process that must be carried out step by step to achieve cognitive and motor maturation in people. The consequences of not developing fine motor skills at an early age mean that the child does not develop cognitive maturation, which would limit the enhancement of critical thinking and countless communication and life actions. The process that a teacher develops to promote the acquisition of skills at the preschool level with a face-to-face modality is complex, teachers have the responsibility to seek the best strategies to promote active participation in their students, taking into account their diversity and pace of learning.
