Análisis volumétrico de las edificaciones de un sector de la parroquia Jambelí cantón Machala de la provincia de El Oro

Abstract

The city of Machala has presented a remarkable urban growth in recent years, which is why the Municipal GAD, has developed ordinances and laws for the construction of buildings, trying to give a better aesthetic to our city and thus be able to provide and cover the needs of all its inhabitants. One way to control and evaluate this growth is through the different types of indicators of urban sustainability, this being a very extensive topic, we will focus on a single indicator that allows us to measure the volumetry of a designated sector of the city of Machala for study. The methodology to be used will consist in the field visit and observation of each one of the buildings for the data collection, whose information should consist of the different building heights, in this way their volumetry will be analyzed and they can be represented graphically by means of a software of application. In this way we can statistically determine in Excel the percentage of the different heights of the buildings with which our designated site counts and we can have an idea of the urban growth of a small part of our city.
