Abstract

The present research work “The tourist reactivation of the site The Chain contributes to the conservation of biodiversity and the development of the canton Pasaje” seeks to propose conservation strategies using the axes of sustainability. This research had a qualitative and quantitative methodological approach where our study population focuses on tourist attractions and the internal elements of the tourism system. For this, research techniques were used such as the in situ visit, direct observation and the “Methodological Guide for the hierarchy of Tourist Spaces in Ecuador”, that allows knowing the weighting results and relevant criteria of the El Progreso site The Chain.
