Abstract
The present work has the purpose of demonstrating the importance of carrying out a feasibility study before the investment is carried out, focused specifically with the financial analysis for decision-making in the projects that you wish to carry out, whether local or international . Also, analyze the degree of empiricism that small and medium entrepreneurs use to execute investments, based on their experience and not through the preparation of a feasibility study and a financial analysis, applying different tools such as NPV, IRR, VPN , which are used in order to know the profitability of the projects and see their viability in the near future.

El presente trabajo tiene el propósito de demostrar la importancia de realizar un estudio de factibilidad antes de que se lleve a cabo la inversión, enfocado específicamente con el análisis financiero para la toma de decisiones en los proyectos que se desean realizar, ya sean locales o internacionales. Asimismo, analizar el grado de empirismo que los pequeños y medianos empresarios utilizan para ejecutar inversiones, en base a su experiencia y no mediante la elaboración de un estudio de factibilidad y de un análisis financiero, aplicando las diferentes herramientas como el VAN, TIR, VPN, que son utilizadas con el fin de conocer la rentabilidad de los proyectos y ver su viabilidad en el futuro cercano.
