Responsabilidad social en empresas públicas: caso gobierno autónomo descentralizado municipal de Machala.

Abstract

Public Social Responsibility (RSP) arises from the need to incorporate good practices among public sector institutions, companies and individuals. Public institutions are in charge of strengthening internal policies, thus providing evidence of transparency, accountability, ethics, and commitment to citizens and the environment. Thus, local governments try to introduce and establish SR management models to generate competitive advantage. The objective of this study is based on disseminating the factors, principles and strategies applied by the Municipal GAD of Machala within its organization.The results obtained through the surveys allowed us to identify the internal perspective that employees have in terms of equality, skills development, work environment and social actions of the Municipal GAD.
