Abstract

The sterilization is the elimination of any pathogenic or not pathogenic present microorganism in an object by means of a method of sterilization that can be a physicist, for dry heat or humid heat or for a chemical method, by means of the use of solutions already be liquid or gaseous. In order that an object is named a sterile debit to happen for a procedure of validation by means of a qualit indicator which can be three types: physicist, chemical or biological. The principal aim of the present investigation is the role determines that the professional of infirmary to realize in the process of sterilization, included the validation of the above mentioned process, beside studying the types of indicators of the control of sterilization and determining the efficiency of each one of these. The methodology used in the present study is retrospective and analytical, consisting of the review of bibliographical information and of scientific articles to identify the roles that the professional of infirmary recovers in the labor area and power like that to determine the activities to realize in the head office of sterilization.
