Abstract

In this master's thesis, issues related to educational guidance will be addressed from its history to empirical and theoretical inquiries of the research process, specifying relevant aspects that characterize educational guidance and its application. Thus, the main objective is to develop an educational guidance strategy that improves the fulfillment of the guidance function of the teachers of General Basic Higher Education and Baccalaureate of the Private Educational Unit of the Pacific, located in the Province of El Oro, Canton Machala.
