Abstract

Introduction: Subarachnoid Hemorrhage is defined as the incursion of blood into the subarachnoid space, where cerebrospinal fluid usually circulates, it is a pathology with a high level of morbidity and mortality. Cerebrovascular diseases permanently represent one of the top three causes of death. It is a cerebrovascular disease that constitutes a diagnostic challenge and involves complex, sophisticated, multidisciplinary and rarely routine interventions. The nurses act when the individual, for whatever reason, cannot take care of himself, in the case of patients suffering from Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage, the consequent problems depend on the neurological deterioration that occurs, for which the self-care deficit will be different in each patient, nursing performance will be eternally essential for their well-being and speedy recovery. Objective: To design a nursing care process in a patient with subarachnoid hemorrhage, based on the self-care deficit theory of Dorothea Orem through bibliographic reviews and medical history, promoting self-care and improving the patient's quality of life.
