Proceso de atención de enfermería en pacientes con miositis aguda benigna pediátrica

Abstract

Acute benign pediatric myositis mainly affects children of school age, is an infrequent pathology, of good prognosis and it is produced after an infection of viral origin mainly caused by the influenza virus A and B, causes acute pain and inflammation of the muscles, mainly the calf twins, which leads to difficult knee flexion as well as plantar dorsiflexion, which is why the patient has difficulty walking, the diagnosis is based on the clinical, analysis to detect the enzyme creatinfosfoquinasa (CPK) or muscle biopsy can be identified the causal agent, in view of the favorable prognosis of the pathology, the main action of the patient and family is to comply with the medical treatment and nursing care required, the recovery is fast allowing the return to normal activities in a maximum period of 10 days. The objective of this work is to analyze how the process of nursing care occurs in patients with acute benign pediatric myositis and to prepare a proposal for PAE applicable to this type of patients. The methodology used in this work was retrospective and analytical, consisting of the review of scientific articles and updated bibliography to obtain information related to pathology and care. It concludes with the development of the nursing care process according to the problems that are considered relevant, emphasizing the Theory of self-care according to the requirements of the pediatric patient.
