dc.descriptionEl estudio de los perfiles socioeconómicos y ambientales de los agricultores en Ecuador son escasos, motivo por el cual la presente investigación tuvo como objetivo describir el perfil socioeconómico y ambiental de La Asociación Agraria Bananera Fincas de El Oro. La población estuvo conformada por los 42 asociados, los cuales respondieron un cuestionario estructurado por preguntas cerradas, que conformaron los indicadores sociales, económicos y ambientales de tipo categórica y nominal. Se aplicó la prueba de Chi-cuadrado para determinar significancia (p<0.05) en los indicadores ingresos económicos/nivel de educación y tamaño de la finca/fuentes de financiamiento. Se encontró un predominio del género masculino sobre el femenino, la mayoría de los socios tiene más de 45 años y 29 socios afiliaron a sus obreros al seguro social. Dentro del intervalo de ingresos económicos, 26 socios recibieron ingresos > $1 500 mensuales. Solo se estableció significancia (p=0.056) entre ingresos económicos/nivel de educación.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe study of the socioeconomic and environmental profiles of farmers in Ecuador are scarce, which is why this research aimed to describe the socioeconomic and environmental profile of the Asociación Agraria Bananera Fincas de El Oro. The population consisted of 42 associates, who answered a questionnaire structured by closed questions, which formed the social, economic and environmental indicators of categorical and nominal type. The Chi-square test was applied to determine significance (p<0.05) in the indicators of economic income/level of education and farm size/sources of financing. A predominance of the male gender over the female was found, most of the partners are over 45 years old and 29 partners affiliated their workers to the social security. Within the income range, 26 partners received income > $1 500 per month. Significance (p=0.056) was only established between economic income/level of education.es_ES
