La coreografía como herramienta en la expresión corporal en los estudiantes de octavo año de básica superior

Abstract

The present research work is an integrative project, and focused on choreography as a tool in body expression in students in the eighth year of basic education whose objective was oriented to determine the experience that teachers have to apply choreography as tool in body expression in students in the eighth year of basic education at the María Piedad Castillo de Levid school, determine the importance of choreography as a tool in body expression in students, investigate the knowledge that teachers have in the application of choreography as a tool in body expression and analyze the guidance that teachers need in the application of choreography as a tool in body expression in students. The data collection was based on a mixed approach, with a descriptive methodology, managing to diagnose the reality in the María Piedad Castillo de Levid school in relation to choreography as a tool in body expression. The methods with the greatest impact in this investigation are the analytical synthetic and others that were integrated as auxiliaries, such as, the comparative and the bibliographic, which contributed significantly when collecting the information based on the specific objectives to contribute to the general objective, which were written to cover aspects related to the literary review, to field research and finally to support the integrative proposal, as a contribution in favor of the educational institution that facilitated access to carry out the research. In relation to the sample, the Physical Education teacher and the eighthyear students of basic education were considered.
