Análisis comparativo del proceso de participación social con y sin facilitador ambiental

Abstract

This proposed research case covers topics concerning the mechanisms and importance of the processes of social participation in projects or works that have environmental impacts, it is important to carry out informational dissemination that includes suitable methods embodied in those actors who are within the area of direct and indirect influence, which allow to provide knowledge about the possible execution of activities susceptible to impacts or affectation in their environment, receiving their criteria and observations. For which the generalities of the social participation processes will be presented as necessary tools focused on a mutual dialogue between the proponent and the community, they may be intervened with and without socio-environmental facilitators, in such a way that a comparative matrix is established determining the respective analysis of the observations that are presented in each action with the due persons in charge in each process, Similarly, a descriptive matrix is developed in accordance with Ecuadorian regulations, including the most relevant environmental activities determined on the platform of the Ministry of the Environment through its website of the Unique Environmental Information System. The case study presents a methodology focused on a bibliographic investigation, referring to books, scientific articles and regulations, it also determines a descriptive approach that reveals each of the processes of social participation.
