Los sistemas económicos y su impacto sobre la economía real: caso Brasil (1990-2017).

Abstract

The economies of Latin America throughout their history have lived governments of capitalist and socialist ideology, generating differentiated results in these economies. This research raises first of all a documented explanation of the economic situation of Brazil in the period of (1990-2017), where the contribution of neo-liberal and progressive governments will be differentiated; The second part makes a comparison of the economic performance obtained in the analysis period. With the purpose of assessing which economic system allowed greater growth and development in Brazil; a descriptive-comparative analysis of relevant data was carried out, such as: the participation of the components of GDP, some indicators inherent to the economic crisis and others of the social type. Being the participation of progressive governments, which increased growth and development for the Brazilian economy, despite its poor performance in recent years.
