Estudio del potencial turístico de la isla Jambelí perteneciente al cantón Santa Rosa provincia de El Oro.

Abstract

Ecuador has a unique biodiversity in the world, either because of the variety of culture, ethnic groups and religions, or rather, because of the natural qualities characteristic and unique to this country, that is, Ecuador has four worlds within a single country , making it more and more interesting to the traveler and visitor. But this not only remains there, it is necessary to carry out a study for its development, determining the shortcomings that exist in regard to the support of the necessary infrastructure to exercise the tourist activity in all the sectors that have the environment to do it, such This is the case of the canton Santa Rosa , belonging to the Province of El Oro, which has a series of tourist attractions with great natural potential. The study of this case is to develop a tourism product that can offer the Santa Rosa canton, that is why the main attractions of the Canton have been taken into account, as a methodology was applied a descriptive investigation with the relevant data, the research techniques were visit IN SITU and by means of hierarchy sheets that will help us determine the ranking of each attraction. Likewise, in order to know the current situation of the attraction, a SWOT analysis came out that determines its strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats, to boost the tourist product such as Jambeli Island with an emphasis on sustainable tourism.
