Factores que incrementan la discapacidad de tipo mental en los trastornos del espectro autista

Abstract

Autism spectrum disorder is identified by the lack or limitation of emotions, this deficit creates essential elements that are detrimental to the affective development of the person, for this it is important to know the factors that harm the mental deficit in people with autism, the behavior it depends on the temperature and even the noise and it is difficult to try to explain or negotiate a situation, understanding their world is a challenge for each family member. Objective: To identify the risk factors that increase mental disability in autism spectrum disorders through updated bibliographic reviews. Materials and Methods: The following descriptive and retrospective bibliographical review is carried out with the search for scientific articles based on patients with autism, the same one that is searched in the pages of Pubmed, Redalyc, Elsevier, Google Scholar, of the last 5 years to obtain a science-based update. Conclusion: The risk factors that cause mental alterations in patients with autism spectrum disorder were described, one of the factors that is most under study are the genetic causes and the factors of exposure to pesticides.
