Análisis técnico jurídico ambiental de actividades económicas ubicadas a riberas del Estero Huaylá parroquia Puerto Bolívar en el cantón Machala

Abstract

The Huaylá estuary has for years been the recipient of wastewater from different activities in the parish of Puerto Bolívar, in the Machala canton, in this work the activities that discharge to the estuary are described and compliance with current environmental regulations is analyzed. , from international to local standards, for which a legal matrix is established, taking into account the 4.3 km extension of the arm of the sea and the main points of contamination such as domestic sewage, shrimp farming waste, discharges of fuels, waste from balanced production. Through the bibliographic review and the on-site visit, non-compliance with the laws can be verified, in addition to identifying the different actors involved and identifying the main impact, which is the deterioration and decline of the mangrove, the same that provides the communities with services ecosystems such as flood control and food, a resource that is protected by the Ecuadorian state and has legal protection, however, there are shortcomings in current regulations, so it is proposed to establish environmental policies for actions that cause damage to the water resource. which is exposed in order to guarantee water quality.
