Abstract
The objective of this research is to design an integrative family educational strategy to strengthen the family-school bond in the secondary education sublevel of the educational unit Dr. Ernesto A. Castro of Salvias parish, Zaruma canton, in order to respond to the problem identified in the research. The insufficient integration of parents in the educational environment has a negative influence on the development of the teachinglearning process of their children. Education does not only take place in the school, it is built as a whole, among three agents, teachers, students, and parents. The research is of an explanatory type because it allows to know in a concrete way the problem with characteristics of the family-school link, as well as to evidence the relationship between the variables. The instruments used for data collection were observation, interview, survey, and documentary research. The information obtained evidenced the need to carry out integration actions, with a psycho-pedagogical perspective.

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo diseñar una estrategia integradora de educación familiar para el fortalecimiento del vínculo familia - escuela en el subnivel de básica media de la unidad educativa Dr. Ernesto A. Castro de la parroquia Salvias, Cantón Zaruma, como respuesta al problema encontrado en la investigación. La escasa integración de los padres de familia en el ámbito educativo, influye negativamente en el desarrollo del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de sus hijos. La educación no solo se da en la escuela, sino que esta se construye en conjunto, entre tres agentes, docentes, estudiantes y padres de familia. La investigación es de tipo explicativa porque permite conocer de forma concreta el problema con características del vínculo familia-escuela, como también evidencia la relación de las variables. Los instrumentos utilizados para la recolección de datos fueron la observación, la entrevista, la encuesta y el estudio documental. La información obtenida evidenció la necesidad de realizar acciones de integración con una perspectiva psicopedagógica.
