Abstract

An informatics audit was conducted directed to the Technical University of Machala library, motivated by the necessity to improve the attention, computer system, computer equipment, electrical installations, the correct operation of the air conditioner system and a correct application of audit processes. Keeping like a fundamental objective of doing a good audit applying appropriate processes that lead us to seek positive responses for the benefit of organizations; without forgetting that if this audit is applied well, the one that will benefit is the institution, and especially the university community. Where different tools were used such as the interview and observation method. It is very import the help and guidance that gives us the scientific articles that seeks to improve the optimal development of the computer audit in the organizations of different countries.
