Efectos económicos en la liquidez y rentabilidad de la cooperativa de taxi “Radio Sucre” en tiempos de pandemia.

Abstract

The study focuses on examining how liquidity influenced the profitability of the “Radio Sucre” Taxi Cooperative during the period 2020 – 2021, and also on understanding how administrative decisions were affected by the pandemic in a global business context; using financial ratios and their corresponding interpretation. The research structure is non-experimental in nature and an exploratory factor analysis with an explanatory approach is used to identify the cause-effect relationship of the research problem. Additionally, both a quantitative and qualitative approach is used when analyzing the company's financial statements, using tools such as the Observation Guide and the Interview Guide as research instruments. The cooperative was affected by the pandemic in 2020 – 2021, which generated unfavorable results. This suggests that both internal and external factors in the taxi cooperative market are not at their best, however “Radio Sucre” maintained adequate liquidity in that period within the established ranges.
