Tratamiento de la hemorragia disfuncional anovulatoria en el síndrome de ovario poliquístico

Abstract

Introduction: Dysfunctional anovulatory hemorrhage (AGIB) is a common gynecological condition in women of reproductive age, characterized by irregular and abundant uterine bleeding due to the absence of regular ovulation. One of the underlying disorders that is usually associated with ovulation disorders is polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a complex clinical pathology that affects women around the world. PCOS not only represents a medical and emotional challenge for patients, but also raises questions about the management of Anovulatory Dysfunctional Hemorrhage. Objective: To analyze the appropriate treatment for anovulatory dysfunctional bleeding in polycystic ovary syndrome, through a critical reading of high-impact articles, in order to improve the quality of life and well-being of patients. Materials and methods: The present work is a descriptive study, it is based on a review using updated scientific articles in indexed bibliographic sources, and thus have a better treatment to consider. Results: A good update of the accepted treatments for polycystic ovary syndrome was obtained, which will depend on the purposes of each patient since it is based on improving the quality of life of each person. Conclusion: To achieve the correct management of polycystic ovary syndrome, the patient must be treated as a heterogeneous being, and thus improve several aspects such as a good lifestyle, with a balanced diet, correct mental health and good performance of physical activity, complemented with a correct pharmacological scheme and in certain cases reaching surgical treatment.
