Abstract
Mediante un estudio de tipo transversal, descriptivo observacional se estudió un grupo de 150 pacientes con SIDA con y sin antiretroviral que acuden a la consulta externa del Hospital Teófilo Dávila de la ciudad de Machala en el año 2011, se utilizaron las tablas de Framingham por categorías, el objetivo general del estudio fue determinar el riesgo cardiovascular, y como objetivos específicos determinar el riesgo cardiovascular de acuerdo a grupos de edad, por género y aquellos con terapia y sin terapia antiretroviral.
Description
Using a cross-sectional, descriptive observational studied group of 150 patients with AIDS with and without antiretroviral therapy attending the outpatient hospital Teófilo Dávila Machala city in 2011, were used by the Framingham categories, the overall objective of the study was to determine the cardiovascular risk, and specific objectives determining cardiovascular risk according to age group, gender, and those with and without antiretroviral therapy.
