Abstract
The present investigation arises from a problem diagnosed in eighth-year EGB schoolchildren from the “San Rafael de Sharug” Educational Unit who revealed low marks in the performance of learning Mathematics. The situation detected allowed to propose the objective of the research is to develop a methodological strategy through cooperative work techniques that favors the improvement of the teaching - learning
process of Mathematics in eighth year EGB students. Strategy that is carried out with the application of cooperative techniques, where students will work in teams with a cooperative structure, promoting the improvement of critical thinking, interpersonal skills and commitment in their own construction of learning.
Description
La presente investigación nace de un problema diagnosticado en los escolares del octavo año de EGB de la Unidad Educativa “San Rafael de Sharug” quienes revelaban bajas calificaciones en el rendimiento del aprendizaje de la Matemática. La situación detectada permitió plantear el objetivo de la investigación es elaborar una estrategia metodológica mediante técnicas de trabajo cooperativo que favorezca al perfeccionamiento del proceso enseñanza – aprendizaje de la Matemática en los alumnos de octavo año de EGB. Estrategia que se efectúa con la aplicación de técnicas cooperativas, donde los estudiantes trabajaran en equipos de estructura cooperativa, promoviendo la mejora del pensamiento crítico, las habilidades interpersonales y el compromiso en su propia construcción del aprendizaje.
