Abstract
El presente trabajo de titulación bajo el tema “Diseño Estructural de la Capa de
Rodadura de la Avenida Ferroviaria, desde la Intercepción de la Calle 6 y El Distribuidor
de Trafico, en la Ciudad de Machala, Provincia de El Oro”, es de vital importancia para
el desarrollo socio – económico de los habitantes cercanos a este proyecto.
El proyecto tiene como fin explicar las causas del deterioro de la estructura asfáltica,
ubicada en la Avenida Ferroviaria, se recopilo información de las fallas existentes y de
los materiales utilizados que explicara las causas que conllevaron al deterioro
paulatino.
El objetivo fundamental del proyecto es estudiar las condiciones de la vía y así evitar el
rápido deterioro tanto para los vehículos como para la vía, con el fin de brindar un buen
servicio a las personas que hacen uso de la misma demostrando una orientación, la
cual se basa en las normas y especificaciones generales que se deben tomar en
cuenta para realizar un buen diseño de la carpeta asfáltica.
El método que se empleó para el diseño del pavimento flexible es el Método AASTHO
93 y para evaluar las diferentes fallas que se encontraron en la vía de estudio se lo
realizó con el método PAVER (PCI).
Dando lugar a la recopilación de toda la información técnica del proyecto, para efectuar
así el respectivo presupuesto referencial, planos y cronograma de la vía en estudio.
Description
The present work of qualifications under the theme "structural design of the surface
layer of the Railway Avenue, from the Interception of 6th Street and the distributor of
traffic in the City of Machala, El Oro Province", is of vital importance for the
development socio - economic of the inhabitants close to this project.
The project aims to explain the causes of the deterioration of the asphalt roof structure,
located in the Avenida Ferroviaria, information was collected from the flaws and the
materials used to explain the causes that led to the gradual deterioration.
The fundamental objective of the project is to study the conditions of the track and thus
avoid the rapid deterioration for both traffic and the track, in order to provide a good
service to the people that make use of it by demonstrating a sense of direction, which is
based on the rules and general specifications that should be taken into account in order
to make a good design folder of the asphalt.
The method that was used for the flexible pavement design method is the AASTHO 93
and to evaluate the different failures that were found in the track of study was with the
PAVER method (PCI).
Giving rise to the compilation of all the technical information of the project, to carry out
the respective referential budget, plans and timetable of the track in study
