dc.descriptionLa finalidad del presente artículo consiste en analizar los niveles de liquidez y rentabilidad mediante la aplicación de indicadores financieros para el fortalecimiento del desempeño económico y financiero. En donde se utilizó la metodología cualitativa-descriptiva, ya que se recopiló los Estados Financieros y se determinó el desenvolvimiento económico y financiero de la empresa Agrícola Cacao del Sur Caodelsur Cia. Ltda, de los cuatro últimos periodos (2017-2020), a través del análisis financiero procurando las ratios de liquidez y rentabilidad, también se empleó la investigación bibliográfica. Los resultados evidencian que, en los indicadores de liquidez la entidad no cuenta con la capacidad para cubrir sus obligaciones o deudas a corto plazo, en cuanto la rentabilidad los indicadores muestran una deficiencia en el manejo de sus recursos por lo que no se está cumpliendo con la finalidad de producir ganancias o utilidades sobre el giro de sus actividades, en donde los directivos deben tomar los correctivos necesarios.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this article is to analyze the levels of liquidity and profitability through the application of financial indicators to strengthen the economic and financial performance. Where the qualitative-descriptive methodology was used, since the Financial Statements were compiled and the economic-financial performance of the company Agrícola Cacao del Sur Caodelsur Cia. Ltda, of the last four periods (2017-2020), through the financial analysis seeking the liquidity and profitability ratios, bibliographic research was also used. The results show that in the liquidity indicators the entity does not have the capacity to cover its obligations or short-term debts, as for profitability indicators show a deficiency in the management of its resources so it is not fulfilling the purpose of producing profits or profits on the turn of its activities, where managers must take the necessary corrective actions.es_ES
