Análisis de factores determinantes de los emprendimientos de la ciudad de Machala.

Abstract

In Ecuador, the creation of new companies has increased over time as a result of different economic variables associated mainly with the needs of the environment, despite this, its increase has favored the strengthening of productive activity and improved the living standards of its inhabitants. The objective of the present case analysis is to identify the incidence of the determining factors of the undertakings of the city of Machala through a qualitative-descriptive methodology, whose data collection instrument is the survey which, through the calculation of a representative sample obtained of the SUPERCIAS allowed to know the reasons behind the entrepreneurial initiative of 201 businesses. The research findings indicate that the Machalean enterprises arise in response to three main characteristics such as: unemployment, labor independence and the search for extra income, showing that the decision of self-employment in the city originates from the perspective of need.
