Abstract

The present case study aims to analyze the characteristics of learning and emotions in a girl with autism, focusing on understanding how these dimensions interact and affect her cognitive and emotional development. The research employed a qualitative method to analyze the learning progress and emotions over the years. Data collection instruments included observation directed at the girl, as well as interviews with the teacher and family to obtain a broader insight into her learning and emotions. Additionally, three psychometric tests, namely Human Figure Test, CUMANIN Test, and SENA Test, were used to evaluate the different aforementioned aspects. Additionally, various intervention strategies are explored for both academic and emotional development. The results reveal significant patterns between the girl's emotional state and her ability to learn, emphasizing the importance of addressing emotional needs to enhance the teaching-learning process. Therefore, it is crucial to create an environment of emotional support and utilize educational methods that fit her characteristics, as learning in this manner helps improve her quality of life and develop important skills.
