Abstract

This research shows the importance of the correct scheduling of a civil work through the use of Microsoft Project software, in which an appropriate control of the sequence in the execution of the tasks that make up the project is carried out, giving greater speed to the development of the work, and increasing profits by optimizing resources in smaller periods of time. The purpose of the Sanitary Sewer Construction project for the San Isidro neighborhood, Pasaje canton is to use the Microsoft Project tool for optimalscheduling in the construction of the work, proposing adequate times and costs, for which the tasks involved in the work, as well as the unit price analysis. With this information we proceed to prepare the referential budget, estimating the durations of each one of them and applying the method of the critical route to define the predecessor tasks; managing to define the execution period of the project through the Microsoft Project tool, obtaining four execution periods for this.
