Reporte médico legal de las lesiones físicas en la atención primaria

Abstract

Introduction: Primary Health Care (PHC) is characterized as a health care tool, which through the second level of care that is made up of basic hospitals as well as general hospitals, in which the trained general practitioner who works in the emergency area, is in charge of filling out the medical reports that are recognized as medico-legal information to form 003 or anamnesis and form 008 or emergency where we will emphasize that they should be filled out pertinently in cases where the patient is registered for presenting physical injuries. Objective: To identify the main characteristics of each type of physical injury during primary health care by means of an updated review of scientific articles and digital repositories in order to correctly fill out the medical-legal reports. Methodology: A literature review is carried out according to the state of the art through a thorough search of updated studies obtained in the database of high impact systematic journals of the last five years, such as PubMed, Google Scholar, EBSCOhost, Lancet and Scielo, in addition to books and online documents. Conclusion: The general practitioner should perform a correct assessment at the time of care with respect to the anamnesis and physical examination that allows him to describe the characteristics of each type of physical injury and the area where they are located, since it represents a fundamental role in the medico legal forms.
