Caso Clínico: Gestante con VIH y Coinfección de Tuberculosis.

Abstract

The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is an infection characterized by attacking the immune system, rendering it immunodeficient by altering or nullifying its function. It destroys white blood cells, specifically CD4 cells. This research aims to analyze and determine the most relevant and appropriate nursing interventions for a patient with human immunodeficiency virus plus tuberculosis, with the goal of improving their quality of life by effectively providing care to relieve the symptoms presented by the disease. This will be carried out through a descriptive, analytical, and explanatory study, through the analysis of medical history, patient interviews, and scientific articles. The result was a23-year-old female patient with 34 weeks of gestation, diagnosed with HIV, tuberculosis, cytomegalovirus, and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Finally, we conclude with the importance of understanding the complications associated with the disease and applying nursing care according to the patient's needs and clinical presentation.
