Proyecto de prefactibilidad enfocado en el diseño de estructuras metálicas en edificaciones de instituciones educativas

Abstract

This project takes an approach to evaluate the prefeasibility in the implementation of metal structures in buildings for educational institutions, thanks to its conditions of strength, durability and flexibility are highly viable for its construction process. Students are exposed to adverse weather conditions when carrying out their recreational activities or social programs, affecting their education, which has not been solved due to lack of resources to carry out the prefeasibility of the project. Consequently, the objective of this work is to elaborate a prefeasibility project for the design of a metal roof by analyzing its technical, economic and social feasibility. Recommendations based on ANSI/AISC 360-22, ACI 318-19 and NEC-15 design standards will be provided to guide future decisions for the construction of sustainable and efficient metallic structures in educational centers, supported by an initial budget and construction plans, thus improving school conditions and environment
