Abstract

The present research work is called “Photography as an artistic tool on the problems of Politics”, which shows us through art the acts of corruption of governability who legitimately take power as a result of false promises. about the sovereign principal who in the end suffers the consequences, leaving the country mired in oppression and with priceless losses. Photography has evolved technically since it appeared in 1830, its technical management will depend on the purpose it has as its objective, in Ecuador photography began in 1841 with the arrival of the first daguerreotype and was given for communicative purposes beginning with the photo journalism, in 1892 with the advancement of technology, it evolved and was considered an artistic medium beginning to capture landscapes, important structures of the city of Guayaquil and portraits of important people of this time. In this sense, it can be said that art from photography as an artistic proposal has a deep aesthetic meaning not only from the fact of recording an event, but also from placing before the public a reference image that identifies us and that also involves us in the paradox of life, especially in which we do not know how to choose our authorities, through photography the artist can capture and transmit emotions to the viewer. Art is taken as a means of expression where we reflect thoughts, feelings and emotions, which are transmitted to the viewer, therefore we must work very cleanly when taking the focuses and working to modify the color, taking into account that photography is considered an artistic medium since the 20th century, and since that time different works made with this artistic technique have been valued and shown. From this we can mention various artists such as Pedro Mayer, Wang Quinsong, who through photography have presented works reflecting a social problem. For the research study, the following work is divided into four chapters, which are analyzed as follows: The first chapter addresses the conceptualization of the artistic object and, in turn, analyzes the technical concepts of photography and its purpose from a comparative graphic reading between works by international, national and local artists, showing us the evolution and the artist's hand in hand. of photography. Chapter two emphasizes the conception of the artistic work, addresses the problem by showing the cases of corruption that the country went through and describes in a general way about photography, its characteristics, and the branches of photography which allow the creation of the work to be done. In chapter three, we will find the artistic process from the creation of the idea as well as the technical procedure to the final presentation of the work, the process of Planning, editing and creation of the work. Finally, chapter four addresses the conclusions, where the experiences and technical recommendations regarding the research work are considered.
