Participación de la población en los procesos de organización comunitaria en el Barrio Bolívar del cantón Pasaje, año 2022

Abstract

The present research work aims to know how the participation of the population influences the processes of community organization in the Bolivar neighborhood of the Pasaje canton. In its context, there is a high rate of lack of motivation to contribute to local development, likewise, it has been determined that there is an absence of community leadership that affects decision-making that benefits the sector, likewise, the poor management of social projects by the Municipal Government, since the site lacks some basic services, which directly affects the quality of life of the inhabitants, however, there is no community house for the inhabitants to have a neighborhood interaction and cooperation. The present research work intends to know how the participation of the population influences the processes of community organization in the Bolivar neighborhood of the Pasaje canton. The general objective of the research is to determine the incidence of the deficient organization of the inhabitants in the development of community welfare management in the Bolivar neighborhood of the Pasaje canton, while the specific objectives were directed, a) To identify the incident factors in the disinterest of the community for the neighborhood organization; b) To establish the repercussions of the weak organization on the neighborhood management processes and the timely attention of the GADM, c) To determine the effect of the absence of integration spaces on community communication, d) To identify timely strategies for the generation of motivation of interest for the organization of the residents of the Bolivar de Pasaje neighborhood. The research has a non-experimental methodological design, together with an inductive empirical epistemological approach given that the knowledge originates from the experiences lived by the inhabitants, in the same way, a mixed methodological approach to examine the triggering elements and critical points that are present in the problem of the participation of the population, using surveys directed to 226 inhabitants and interviews oriented to directors and officials of the Municipal Government and main activist of the neighborhood with the purpose of evidencing the reality of the environment. The surveys conducted to the inhabitants, it was noted that in the neighborhood there is a deficient participation of the inhabitants, nor the presence of community leaders, also that there are no spaces for dialogue that promote local development, so, in the research process, a project was approached to encourage community leadership and promote the active participation of the population. In relation to the above, the problems of the object of study should be taken into account to promote the empowerment of citizens, focused on collective welfare. The intervention proposal to be implemented is aimed at solving the problem found in the neighborhood, it is called: Project to encourage community leadership to strengthen management processes in the Bolivar neighborhood of the Pasaje canton it is convenient to take into account that communication, responsibility and other social ties are key elements to coexist with the community. This implies not only addressing their own needs, but also being concerned about the progress of their locality. In this way, the active participation of the population must be considered as a fundamental factor that allows decisions to be made for the benefit of the well-being of the inhabitants. In this process, an operative planning is carried out that includes specific actions to be executed by the technical team in charge. The objective is to develop strategies aimed at encouraging leadership in the organizational processes to adequately address the social demands related to the problem; evaluation periods are established to measure the results and achieve the previously established intervention objectives. In addition, an assigned budget is available to validate the feasibility of the project in technical, economic, social and environmental terms.
