Los pictogramas como elemento mediador en el desarrollo del lenguaje en educación inicial 2.

Abstract

The objective of this work is to elaborate a guide of pictographic activities as a means to strengthen language skills through the use of pictograms in children 4 to 5 years of age from the Sulima García Valarezo elementary school, implementing the projective research methodology, from a qualitative and quantitative approach, with a population of 50 students, taking a parallel sample of 25 students, with whom a questionnaire was made to the teachers of initial education, with a total of three teachers of initial 1 and 2. This It obtained as a result, that the use of the pictograms that the teachers of initial education 2 execute is weekly and the ones that they use the most are stories, labels and sequence. Therefore, the teacher refers to the fact that its use is very important, stating that if they used a pictogram guide on a daily basis for a better understanding and expression of language in children from 4 to 5 years of age. In the same way, it was possible to determine that 33% of the children have not acquired the necessary skills to develop language, some are just starting or in the process of acquiring. Among these you can visualize the lack of understanding, communication, recognition of images with situations, linguistic expression, they do not have defined spatial perception, pronunciation, it allows to conclude the lack of activities so that language is strengthened in children such as the use of pictograms.
