Análisis de contenido: el lenguaje de las noticias digitales sobre el feminicidio.

Abstract

The present investigation focused on analyzing the informative treatment regarding the content analysis of the digital news of femicide in the Province of El Oro during the year 2021. The present investigation investigates the news treatment that is given to the cases of femicide, having also take into account its wording, the type of publication (text, video, photo, infographic, illustration), the length of the news, the journalistic genre applied, the information sources, monitoring and the language used. In this case, we took the informative notes posted on their respective Facebook fan pages of the mass media: Diario Correo, MP Noticias, the same ones that in practice link the information, on their web pages through links, this to generate traffic on them. However, it must be taken into account that cases of femicide in recent years have been increasing, for various reasons, where people are not aware of this problem that is occurring, another factor in which this problem is noted is through social networks due to the moment that different media announce the fateful news of women who have suffered this type of murder, the comments do not wait where words like: Maybe I have done something wrong, that's why I step that; No woman is holy; Everyone gets what she deserves or just maybe I cheated on him and this happened to him. Phrases like these point out that people have a degree of ignorance of this type of situation, they do not have empathy towards people who are going through these very difficult moments within their family environment, causing these publications to be not informative, but rather very attacking and callous. It is in this way that the results that have been presented in this topic of study is that the media should treat this type of news in a better way and above all that the comments do not incite hatred or attack without knowing what is involved. the situations by which this fact has been generated, achieving in such a way that the information that is presented with all possible partiality and obviously this same should not fall into morbidity or sensationalism, in this way it will be possible to have quality media and reliability in its journalistic notes. Femicide has different conceptions, but in general it can be described as a crime against a specific gender, in this case, women. Velasquez (2018) argues that “Femicide is the name for the homicide of a woman. It arises from the work carried out by outstanding feminist theorists, who signified the extreme violence that arises against women” (p.82). This indicates the importance of the topic as such, since 50% of the component of this research is represented by a woman and this becomes a contribution also for future communicators who will update this topic over time and for those who have as a source of consultation the present investigative work.
