Estudio de estabilidad de formulaciones magistrales y preparados inyectables

Abstract

The study of drug stability is beneficial in the hospital environment, which is why it is an important space due to the repercussions on the centralization of compound drug preparation. With this, maximum safety and efficiency are guaranteed, since, in poor storage conditions, their power, effectiveness and safety tend to decrease. The master formulas provide important benefits for the treatment of different conditions that are treated in various areas of health. Stability of the injectable preparation is considered the compatibility with solvents and/or diluents, as well as the storage conditions which ensure that the preparation is not altered. The purpose of this research work is to analyze the stability studies of master formulas and injectable preparations, through a bibliographic review to demonstrate the useful life of these drugs. As results we have that, in the different reviewed studies, they evaluated the stability of master formulations and injectable preparations. Physical, chemical parameters and microbiological tests were analyzed. All parameters were evaluated and stored at certain temperatures. However, there are studies where formulations with different vehicles were carried out where only one of all the vehicles obtained good results, demonstrating that they complied with the stability study. Concluding that some magisterial formulations and injectable preparations do fully comply with the stability study carried out in the same way the adequate conditions for their storage, thus guaranteeing their safety and efficacy.
