Percepción de estudiantes de maestría sobre el proceso de elaboración de trabajos de titulación de la Universidad Técnica de Machala.

Abstract

The experience of writing, especially the writing and completion of a degree work, is structured as an emotional and imaginative process. We know that knowledge is gained through many trials and approximations. The process would not pass without pain, doubt, excitement and disappointment. The objective of this case study is to analyze the perception of master's degree students about the process of elaboration of degree works at the Technical University of Machala. The study methodology used was the quantitative approach, applying the technique of data collection through surveys, in which a sample of 25 master's students participated. First, the work methodology used by the tutor and how it influences the development of the research work is covered, then the methodological approach used by the student for the development of his research through the advice of the tutor and the specialists is analyzed, and finally, the experience lived by the student during the whole process of elaboration of the degree work, including the final presentation.Positive results were obtained in this research, which shows that fourth level education at the university is satisfactory, with professional teachers capable of helping students in their academic training to obtain their professional degree.
