Aprovechamiento turístico de los recursos naturales y culturales de la parroquia Salvias del cantón Zaruma.

Abstract

The objective of this work is to take advantage of the tourism potential of the natural and cultural resources as an alternative for sustainable tourism development in the Salvias parish. The research methodology is descriptive, analytical and bibliographic with a mixed approach using research techniques and instruments such as: interviews, surveys, non-participatory observation, SWOT analysis and documentary review. As a result, the natural and cultural resources of the Salvias parish have great potential for the development of tourism activities; however, there are certain limitations such as the lack of specialized human resources in tourism, the scarcity of tourist facilities, the limited promotion of its attractions and the difficult accessibility to them. For which, as an integrating proposal, two tourist routes based on nature tourism are designed.
