Abstract
In the present investigation, the operation and implementation of the Benchmarking Strategy is studied, knowing the internal, competitive and functional Benchmarking, observing its scope as it is through functional Benchmarking, investigating the competition externally, through reliable sources, and being able to apply it in the Asoguabo Association, located in the Province of El Oro, obtaining as a result of the investigation is through the implementation of the Rainforest Alliance Certification, knowing the areas of improvement that it covers for the fulfillment of this certification, that is to say with the fulfillment of the established requirements, allowing at the same time to increase the competitiveness of the Association and through the improvements applied to be able to reach even new markets.

En la presente investigación se estudia el funcionamiento e implementación de la Estrategia de Benchmarking, conociendo el Benchmarking interno, competitivo y funcional, observando sus alcances como lo es mediante el Benchmarking funcional, investigando a la competencia de manera externa, mediante fuentes confiables, y poder aplicarla en la Asociación Asoguabo, situada en la Provincia de El Oro, obteniendo como resultado de la investigación es mediante la implementación de la Certificación Rainforest Allience, conociendo las áreas de mejora que abarca para el cumplimiento de ésta certificación, es decir con el cumplimiento de los requisitos establecidos, permitiendo a la vez aumentar la competitividad de la Asociación y mediante las mejoras aplicables poder llegar incluso a nuevos mercados.
