Influencia de la fertilización orgánica en el crecimiento y desarrollo en el cultivo de zanahoria en la granja santa ines

Abstract

Organic fertilization in vegetable cultivation is currently an effective alternative that enables increased agricultural production in harmony with nature. The objective of the experimental study was to demonstrate the influence of organic fertilization on the growth and development of the carrot crop in the Santa Inés farm, El Oro, Ecuador, for this, a simple Latin square design was applied, in an Inceptisol and an area of 60 m2, where five treatments were used, earthworm humus, chicken manure, goat guano, mineral fertilizer (10-30-10) and absolute control, with five replicates distributed completely randomly in the columns and rows, conforming 25 experimental units. Data collection was carried out on 10 plants in each experimental unit and the morphological and agronomic variables were measured at 30, 60 days and at harvest time. Intergroup factorial analysis of variance was used to determine the presence or absence of statistical differences between treatments. The chicken manure application showed the best results. The application of the organic chicken manure fertilizer showed the best results, statistically different from the other treatments in relation to the morphological, agronomic variables and agricultural yield of the carrot crop.
