Liquidación de reajuste de precio de la vía Ferroviaria en el cantón Machala

Abstract

The present investigation arises from the need to know and analyze the liquidation of the price readjustment through the application of regulations of the public contracting law of the urban regeneration project carried out on the Machala Canton Railway. This regenerated area benefited the health and well-being of the inhabitants, in addition to contributing to the mobility and economy of the city. Since it is a work of great importance for the city, the analysis of its liquidation on the current date was considered, specifying its total cost and the cost applying the price readjustment. Its application was given using the polynomial formula which serves to determine the difference in costs, and applying the regulations for the readjustment of prices, in addition to the analysis of the type of crew and quantities of work used in the project. Once the calculation was made where the cost at the time of the contract was $18,318,043.63, and applying the price readjustment of spreadsheet 1, a value of $2,933.84 was obtained. The increase is reflected in components such as labor, spare parts, equipment, stone materials, concrete pavers, lamps, public lighting devices and accessories, among others. It is important to proceed with the indications given in chapter VII of the Organic Law of the Public Procurement System, in addition to the price indexes of materials, equipment and construction machinery and the minimum wages by law of the General Comptroller of the State.
