Abstract

The work carried out was based on the generation of the budget and the programming of the project. Construction of Machala Avenue from the Pan-American Highway to Carchi Street, El Guabo canton, an analysis of direct and indirect costs was carried out for the elaboration of the unit prices, then the budget was obtained, and a Gantt chart was continued using the Microsoft Project program. With the data obtained from the Gantt chart, the schedules of valued work and physical progress that reflect the scheduling and execution time of the project. Finally, the schedules for the acquisition of materials, labor and use of equipment were made. The programming carried out made it possible to obtain precise results on the cost of the project, in addition to the duration time and details in the planning and execution, which allows obtaining reliability and correct results within the estimated time, all this is done using computer software such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
